Tuesday, July 14 - Science Museum - Casa de la Ciencia

Tuesday morning we were up and dressed and ready to go visit the Sevilla science museum - Casa de la Ciencia.

Rosa did this beautiful hairstyle.

Devon was as cute as can be, though also hot in his monkey sweatshirt.

And Cody was making a list or train ticket.  Earlier that morning he'd been the first kid awake and he and I had reviewed the best route to go to the museum.  We saw the 2 best busses and had determined how many stops and how much walking, etc.

Wet hair me in my new dress.

Super cute picture of Devon in front of the museum wall.

The kids had a blast with loads of hands on activities.

Devon was a music-listening dancing machine

Rosa loved following a design and putting the pieces together.

Cody loved helping.

Rosa joined in on the dancing.

Cute Cody.

Sometimes Cody even had a chance to listen and dance.

There was even a paper airplane making station and a runway to launch them.

Neat seat/animal statues around the main inner courtyard.

View in the inner courtyard.  Up above are tarps keeping the direct sun out.  Unfortunately, the museum wasn't air conditioned (or at least it wasn't on) and as time went on, it became painfully obvious that this was the case.

We returned to a restaurant, Bar Espana, that we'd been to with my parents.
A picture of the jamon leg that would later be sliced for Cody.
The slicing.

Our table.

My scallops with liquid nitrogen.  Smokin'.

Happy Cody with his full plate of jamon.  He ate it all and then ordered a mini hamburger.

I had fun teasing Cody as I took picture after picture of him.

I also enjoyed an esparragus pate dish.

Rosa and Devon had mini hamburgers.  In fact, Devon had 2.

We then went to take a taxi home, but found that we could take a bus following a clockwise circular route back to our apartment.  Once there, we chilled out and enjoyed the inside.

Scott had a challenging day at work.  Loads of stuff happening with both the project here in Spain and his project on an Aleutian Island in Alaska.  After arriving home, he was on calls until 10pm.  TV was a babysitter as I snuck out for a pilates class.
