Thursday, July 23 - Ireland day #6

After saying goodbye to Suzi and the girls, we hopped in a taxi to the airport.  The driver was a treat with his random facts and showing us some of the sights of Dublin along our route.

We flew Iberia back to Sevilla with a layover in Madrid.

There were loads of play areas in the Madrid airport for the kids to play.  This worked out well since we had almost a 4-hour layover.

Fun in the car.

Slide time.

Love this picture of Rosa with her brothers.
On our first flight, Cody and Rosa sat together and an adult was sat with them in case of an emergency.  Devon and I were lucky with an extra seat next to us.  I even got the window seat, a rarity.

On the 2nd flight, the 3 kids sat together and I sat behind them.  It was such a treat to sit by myself for a short bit.

The kids behaved really well on this first trip I'd ever done solo with the 3 of them.  Scott had already done a solo trip with the 3 of them last summer on the trip to the beach.

Once back in Sevilla, Scott picked us up and we went home to have dinner and to enjoy the leftover banana bread and snickerdoodle cookies.

Plus, Rosa and I are in the process of reading the first Harry Potter book.  We have it as an e-book for 21 days from our Denver library, and it'll be tough to finish it all in time.  But, for now, we try to ready a chapter or two each night.  Rosa's Spanish teacher told all of her students that they'll get to visit Hogwart's in the new school year, so Rosa is having fun learning all about it.  And, at times, the boys and Scott also listen as we read.
