Sunday, July 12 - Aquapolis

The morning started with cartoon watching.  It's so cute how sometimes Rosa will lie down on Cody and they snuggle.

Devon was chilling on the other couch.

Then we walked to breakfast down Alfaqueque.
We returned to Los Ninos del Flor for breakfast.  They turned on two air conditioners for us in the back room.  And they were lovely and always smiling.  It had been Cody's idea to go there.  The kids enjoyed churros and chocolate and toast.  Scott and I had toast for breakfast.

On our way home, we walked by the plaza at the museum of fine arts to check out the Sunday art market.  And we're glad that we did because we found two pictures to buy.  These are Sevilla scenes that we really like.

And then it was time for our mystery ride.

We went to Aquapolis.  It was about a 20-25 minute drive to the other side of town.  This is a large water park.
Here's the 5 of us as we're walking in.

We were there for 5 hours and we had to drag the kids out at the end.  We bounced around from pool to pool.  The kids' favorite was the wave pool - their first time experiencing one.  Part of the fun is the series of sirens that go off ahead of time getting everyone excited and ready for the waves to start.

That night Scott gave me a break and took the kids out to dinner.  They returned to Arte & Sabor on the Alameda de Hercules.  And they had a blast.  Thank you Scott for giving me a little break at the apartment.
