Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!
We started the day by taking Grandma Carol on a city bus ride to the
Plaza de America at the southern end of Parque Maria Luisa. We'd recently done this same journey with the Graeber's. This itinerary is one of our favorites and one that we do every 3 weeks or so.

The visit included tree climbing. |
Lookout climing. |
Here's a picture of Rosa chilling out. |
Of course we had some ice cream on a bench overlooking the Plaza de Espana and then we took taxis home.
I took advantage of Grandma Carol being in town and I went to a pilates class followed by a late lunch across the street at a Spanish omelette restaurant called La Clueca. It was delicious! And it was so lovely to just read a book and have a yummy meal by myself. |
That night we headed to Eslava (Cody's request) for dinner. Cody enjoyed eating anchovies, again. We ate at the bar since the restaurant was being set up for a large party that evening. |
Later that night Rosa, Cody, and Devon enjoyed snuggling on the couch and watching a movie. |
