Happy birthday Uncle Bobby!

| At lunchtime, it was back to the school papeleria (stationary store) to settle our account with the boys' books. The kids absolutely love papelerias. We visited the school one about 3x/week for the first 1.5 months of school. Now we often go to other ones and the kids add to their notebook, pencil, pen, and marker collections. |
Surprisingly, I cleaned the bathrooms Wednesday morning. Then I picked up the kids for lunch and we came home to eat. We stopped at the corner bakery for some rolls and sliced turkey.
Then it was off to the airport where we were to meet Scott. He'd taken the suitcases to work, so it was just the kids and I and we each had a backpack. We hailed a taxi, hopped in, and said off to the airport. The driver looked at me funny. He told me that he expected that we were off to school or a friend's house, but he never expected the airport since we didn't have any luggage and only small backpacks. We continued to laugh with him on the way to the airport.
In Sevilla and Madrid, Thursday was a holiday for the kids and Scott since it was Corpus Christi day. And Friday Scott's colleagues also had the day off. So we pulled the kids out of school for Friday and made it a 4-day weekend in Paris.
Check in at the airport was fairly uneventful. We did have an extra step of going to a different window for a visa check.

| Devon sat with me on the plane. |

| Rosa and Cody sat with Scott. |
Rosa was the first kid to fall asleep on the plane, and Devon fell asleep shortly afterwards. It was about 2.5 hours to Paris.
 |
| Once we landed, we picked up our luggage in a very small and bare room and just outside we picked up the shuttle bus to take us into Paris. The ride was just over an hour. And then we popped into a taxi and to the apartment we'd rented via Airbnb. |
The daughter of the woman who owns the apartment let us in, showed us around, and pointed out
Le Ba-Yen Cafe at the end of the block for dinner.
 |
| The kitchen had just closed, yet they still let us order quickly and they made delicious food for us. |
