Wednesday, June 10 - 3 months in Sevilla - Cody sick day #2

About an hour before Scott and I managed to get out of bed, we could hear Cody.  We thought it was minor and that if he really needed us that he'd come and get us.  He was moaning.  When we did get up and get medicine into him, it turns out that he had a fever again.  Within 5 minutes of getting medicine into him, the fever went down.  But, it meant for day #2 in a row of not going to school.

Cody spent the morning on the tabet watching tv shows.  Then, Scott came home and ate lunch with Rosa and Devon, to save Cody from 2 extra trips to and from school (about 1km each way) so a savings of 4k walking while sick.  Cody and I ate lunch at the apartment and then we both took naps.

And Rosa and Devon were very excited to have Scott for lunch.  It's a rarity on a school day, and it meant that they could eat at Tapaole, a place that I'd banned since we'd eaten there so often.  

With Scott working from home Tuesday afternoon (after lunch with the brownies), I was able to go to a Pilates class.  I'm liking them more and more.  Perhaps because I understand more and more of the vocabulary.

That night Scott had a number of meetings and phone calls.  So, after the kids were fed, bathed, teeth brushed, and books read, I let them watch tv while I fell asleep in the living room with them.
