Scott and I were hopeful that Cody would be back at school on Thursday, but he woke up still not himself.

This is how he spent his morning (on the tablet).

The exciting event at our apartment was a new glass top put onto the coffee table. The other one had fallen and smashed back in April and we hadn't been in a rush to have it fixed. Our ever attentive landlord, however, did want to get it fixed and now it is.
Thursday was my day to pick lunch (a rarity on weekdays) and I suggested the sushi place I've eaten at a couple of times. Rosa LOVED the gyoza, so we ordered a second helping. I was happy to have some sushi. Afterwards, we went to the mushroom for some fruit and then on top to play.

A not so sick looking Cody.
We'd hoped that he'd go to school for the afternoon session from 3-5pm, but he refused. I figured that he was healthy enough and that he just wanted time with me (and the tablet). So, I brought him to my pilates class where he spent the hour playing games. Then it was more playground time before picking up the brownies at school.
That afternoon was a busy social schedule. Rosa's class had given their English teacher an end of the year gift during the school day. And their Spanish teacher was able to make it to a happy hour in the Plaza de Encarnacion across the street from the school and around the corner from where the boys had a birthday party. First we dropped off Rosa at the happy hour where she ran around with her classmates. And then I went upstairs with the boys to their party. They were incredibly clingy. Scott met us there and he then took Rosa on a dinner date. The boys finally started participating at the party and both had their faces painted. Devon had a fire truck.
