We had decided to make Saturday a low-key day in preparation for a big adventure on Sunday. That worked out well as Cody had woken up in the middle of the night, and Devon had woken up multiple times, twice of them to toss his cookies. It had been a week of sickness. Luckily, that's a rarity for all of us.
After breakfast, we hopped into Scott's new rental car and drove about 10 minutes to
Parque del Alamillo. We had to pay a person to park in the parking lot, but it only cost about 65 cents. Quite reasonable.

We visited 2 of the 3 playgrounds while we were there. Then we headed back home and started watching our newest movie, "Mary Poppins".
Just before finishing the movie, we walked down the street to have a late lunch/early dinner (it was 4:25pm when we arrived at the restaurant). It was the boys and my first time at
La Chala. Scott and Rosa had dined there a previous Sunday when I'd brought the boys to one of the many birthday parties for their classmates. This restaurant is just across the street from the apartment where my parents stayed when they were visiting.

The food was great, but Devon was not feeling well. I returned home early with him. There, we watched more movies and went to bed early.
