Monday morning was a challenge, as to be expected considering our late arrival back from Paris.  But, everyone made it to school and Rosa arrived late, though didn't get a tardy since her door was still open.

I went back home and did more loads of laundry and started uploading Paris pictures to the blog.

I left the apartment a little early for lunch and just strolled around.  

In the main tourist section and pedestrian only section, there were workers putting up shade sails to prepare for the summer heat that's only just begun.

We ate lunch at our usual Italian place, Taberna L'Autentica, bought some fruit at the markets in the mushroom, and then went upstairs to play at the playground there.  The kids had a blast!

Cody had a very snotty nose throughout our stay in Paris.  We kept on hoping that it was just allergies as spring was just starting in Paris.  But, while Cody was fine at lunch, when I picked him up at the end of the day, he kept on complaining about his ear hurting.  We stopped at a pharmacy and bought him a topical cream because he said it felt like he had a bee sting or a bug bite (though no evidence of that).  I hoped that the medicine would serve as a placebo.  No luck.  He spent most of the night moaning and we continued to give him medicine to help him out.  And as he moaned the whole way home from school, Rosa walked into a light pole and bopped her forehead.  So, the walk home was both of them in pain.  Luckily Devon was okay.

Once home we learned that Scott had picked up a new car.  It's a volvo.  He can only get a 3-month rental, and our 3 months was up.  Plus, he was still driving the other car on the spare tire, so this was the easiest way to get Enterprise to change the tire.  Scott likes this car a lot more as it's a nicer car and drives better for his 45-minute commute each way each day.

Monday night we had balsamic chicken for dinner (probably the only meal that all 5 of us like).  Then, Antonio gave us our weekly Spanish lesson.  Cody didn't participate due to his ear pain.  Then it was showers and early to bed.
