Wednesday, August 5 - Doyle family visit day #5

Finally a trip to the pirate ship playground, in bathing suits.  It had been ages because by the time we wake up it's usually too hot to go outside and play.  Luckily the weather was a shade cooler and so it was time to cross the street and play at one of our favorite playgrounds in Sevilla.

Devon and Rosa started by trying to pump the water, but it wasn't turned on.

Eventually all 3 kids played with the water fountain to get water to cool off.  We'd arrived around 11am and there was only 1 other kid there at the time.  But, the playground started filling up as time went on.  Rosa eventually had had enough and so she and I sat on a shady bench and just chatted about whatever she wanted to talk about.  It was wonderful spending babycakes time together.

We had planned to go to Eslava for dinner, but it's now closed for the rest of the summer.  Instead, we went to Arte y Sabor on the Alameda de Hercules.

Across the street is a playground.  In these 2 pictures, I tried to get the girls to smile.  That didn't work.

So here they are making super silly faces.

Devon had a blast playing with water.

The bubble making man was back, and the kids had a blast chasing the bubbles and popping them!
