The kids had a full day of school the previous day and a half day on Tuesday.  The rest of the week they're off for Feria de Abril.  I made it to the gym for the first time in almost a week.

When I picked up the kids, we started with lunch at one of our favorite lunch places.  It's by Las Cetas and school and it's Italian.

Afterwards, we walked into one of the somewhat pedestrian-only sections and I treated the kids to ice cream.  They enjoyed eating it while sitting on high stools.

Afterwards we did some shopping.  We picked out a flower for Rosa's hair and for our American friends' hair.  All 3 kids also picked out fans.  And Rosa picked out a mantoncillo (shawl) and pin to wear with her traje de flamenca (feria outfit).

On our way home, the kids played at the Plaza del Duque playground.   We walk by there 2x/day, yet we rarely play there during the school week.  

After we got home, the kids watched a movie and chilled out.  Once Scott got home, we went out to El Corte Ingles to buy him a jacket, shirt, and tie to wear to Feria.  The boys also picked out shirts.  We took advantage of the 7-day discount at El Corte Ingles where 10% from each purchase is applied to the next purchase.

We returned home in time for Scott to make his weekly Alaska call and I made fish for dinner.  We all crashed hard that night.
