While Scott had to get up early and go to work, the rest of us slept in until 9 or 9:30.
We spent the morning in pjs. The boys had fun playing train in the living room. |
The girls had fun playing legos in Rosa's room. |
Snuggly (and tired) Teagan and Jennie. |
Group hug good-bye in the courtyard. Devon and I watched from up in the apartment. We're really going to miss these friends. They've made the first 7 weeks in Spain so amazing and memorable! |
After our friends left, the kids watched a tv show on the tablet while I showered, did laundry, and cleaned up lunch dishes. |
Then we headed to the pirate ship playground. |
We didn't get there until around 2:30pm. We just moved so slowly in the morning. But, once there, the kids played for about 2 hours. They tried to include me. but I was too tired. I just read and almost fell asleep. |
When we got home, Scott had also just arrived home. He took the kids out to play in the courtyard and down the street to buy a "challah" for French toast the next morning. I took a much needed 2-hour nap.
On our way to dinner, we crossed Alameda de Hercules and let the kids play at one of the playgrounds there.
That night we went back to Jueves, on Feria street, for dinner. We were the first people there are 8:30 at night. Cody wanted what Rosa had last time, pesto pasta. Devon had a pepperoni pizza. |
Rosa's silly face. |
And here's Scott's meal. It was filet mignon (of pig). And it was wrapped in bacon. Scott said it tasted great. I had a salad and then shared with the kids. |
When we got home, the kids and I immediately went to bed. Scott stayed up and watched a movie via Netflix.
