Thursday, April 9

Another typical weekday.

Lunch was at a bakery on the same block as the school.  We've eaten there multiple times.  It's self-service (auto-servicio) which means my hungry children can keep on ordering until they're full.  Then, once their bellies were full with lunch, they had room in their dessert bellies for milkshakes.  Rosa had vanilla, Devon had banana, and Cody had chocolate.  The bakery ovens are in the background.

After lunch we had time for a short playground visit.  The kids had fun upstairs at the mushroom.

Thursday night we treated the children to a visit to Ikea.  The adventure began with getting in the car.  Devon especially loves that the garage is floor -1.  Ikea is 10-15 minutes away, and we parked on -2 in the Ikea parking garage.
Sarah G. - check out the rollerblades on display in this bedroom.  I love seeing so many rollerbladers around town.

Rosa had fun playing on this swing in the kids area.

Cody and Devon had fun playing in the kitchen and with the tool bench.

This picture speaks for itself.
Scott and I enjoyed a night off from cooking, though the line to get dinner at Ikea took quite some time since it seemed to be understaffed.
