Back in the states we enjoy going out for breakfast. It's usually quick, yummy, and inexpensive for our family of 5. Our favorite foods include eggs, french toast, and pancakes. A typical Spanish breakfast doesn't include any of this. Rather, a typical Spanish breakfast is toast (with sub-like bread) and ham and olive oil. We decided that we'd been here long enough that it was time to try a Spanish breakfast. We went to a place a few blocks away called Los ninos del flor. It was yummy, but definitely not what we're used to doing. From there, we started walking towards the river.

| Along the way we saw this sign about the offical pharmaceutical school in the province of Sevilla. Adam - this picture is for you. |
We crossed the bridge and could see the museum with the special
dinosaur exhibit just to our right. We went down the stairs and walked along the river, but noticed that there was a closed fence in front of the museum. Up we climbed and then we decided to cross a small construction zone. We figured it was a Saturday and that no work was taking place. We were wrong. We entered a road and walked along, again heading towards the museum, only to be turned around at the very end by construction workers who wouldn't open the gate up for us. They escorted us back to the main road where we then circled for quite a ways (on foot) to the entrance. And, just before getting there, we had to wait again as an excavator moved some steel plates into place to serve as a sidewalk. In other words, it was quite the adventure just getting to the museum. The exhibit was closing the following day which meant that loads of people were there waiting to enter. We waited about 30 minutes.

| Finally we got inside. It started with a movie. I thought this was a great way to control the number of people entering the museum at any one time, so that it wouldn't get too crowded. The movie shared the theory of meteors causing the dinosaur extinction. |
The exhibit was fantastic. It included
Lucy's skeletal remains, She was fantastic. There were all sorts of skeletons and rocks from around the world. While the exhibit was fantastic, it was a bit short. But, it was just the right amount of time for our group.

| At the end, the kids had the chance to excavate for shark teeth. |
 |
| This was their highlight of the day. |
 |
| We liked seeing the Colorado box. |
Later that day we finally headed over to Las Cetas (Metropol Parasol) to take the kids to the rooftop.
 |
| Here are Scott and Devon checking out the scenery. |
 |
| This is a nearby rooftop deck. |
 |
| More gorgeous views. |
On the way back to our apartment, we stopped for dinner at a restaurant that we pass by everyday to and from school. We were there around 8:30 and we were the first people there. We had traditional Spanish tapas and then went home to crash.
