It's been 9.5 years since we bought our house in Denver. And at that time we were moving from another house in Denver. So, it's been a very long time since we've had to start from scratch in a new home. To help kickstart the effort, after Scott finished with work on Thursday we all piled into the car and went to Costco. It's about 15-20 minutes drive away. The kids were bouncing off the walls being able to sit in the car together, to park in the Costco parking garage, and to take the big elevator (they're now calling them lifts) up to the entrance. Once inside they also ran around like crazy. We were surprised, though we shouldn't have been, to find tons of the same brands and goods that we find in the states. The most important purchase was probably the peanut butter. It was a great place to be just before dinnertime so that the we all snacked up on the various trials they had prepared.
During the day, both days, we spent at the playground just two blocks away from us.
The kids are eating like crazy. We're not getting much of a chance to sit down as they're constantly asking for more and more food. We even try and fill them up at dinnertime and then they want to eat more just 10 minutes later.
I had no idea costco was over there!
